Overview
My Implementation
I use the AD246S-M with the pro boom arm stand for PCB rework and component inspection in my electronics workbench. The microscope connects to a USB capture card which feeds into a Raspberry Pi running motion detection software integrated with Home Assistant. Automations trigger workshop lighting adjustments based on microscope power state, and captures are automatically backed up to my NAS when soldering sessions complete.
