Intent

The purpose of this capability is to enable automatic security activation based on the presence of residents. This functionality ensures that your home is protected as soon as the last person departs, enhancing overall safety.

• Home Assistant platform configured.
• Presence detection enabled for all residents.
• Compatible security devices integrated.
• Home Assistant installed and configured.
• Integration available and authenticated: Zigbee2MQTT.
• Device installed and reachable: Motion Detection.

Trigger

The capability is triggered when the last resident leaves the home, as detected by the presence sensors.

Workflow Description

1. Detect Last Resident Departure

Presence sensors monitor the home’s entry points to determine when the last resident has left.

2. Check for Presence

The system checks if any other family members remain home before proceeding.

3. Activate Security System

If the home is empty, the security system is activated automatically.

4. Send Notification
